NFU wont insure a trailer on its own. Only as an additional cover with a horse policy.
I don't insure my horses (have house insurance and BHS Gold Membership) but also have a Ifor Williams trailer I'd like to get covered on its own. I shall watch this post with interest.
I used Julie Andrews to get a quote - they are a broker and will check all the insurers and seem to get a better deal than going direct. They will to a trailer separately as my horse and trailer are on different policies.
Remember to check what security you need for your insurance to be valid!
Might give KBIS a tinkle as I'm already with them but thank you all for other suggestions too
I think I should be ok in terms of locks. I have a locking hitch and a pretty decent wheel clamp. Might also buy a second wheel clamp so I have one on both sides!
