Best place to advertise a companion/happy hacker?

Sadly the time has come to sell my beloved pony. We are ideally looking for a forever home where she will be companion or light hack.
I haven't the faintest clue where to start advertising her. I'm looking for suggestions for websites. She will go in the local tack shop too.
We are based in Scotland if its any help

Horsemart is one of the biggest sort advertising websites, along with the classifieds section on here, and you have to pay for them.

Preloved is free to advertise on, I see a lot of companions advertised there & have sold a through through that site.

But really if you are wanting a home close to you and genuine its best to advertise local, tack shops, local shows and of course through word of mouth

Freebie websites are Buy That Horse, The Horse Exchange, Preloved, Gum Tree, Right Horses, Ad Trader,

You could also try Ad Horse which costs £5.00

Do assess very carefully though. There have been some really awful and well documented cases, on this board, when someone has sold on an old horse (which is what yours sounds like) for light hacking/companion and said animal has ended being sold for slaughter in a matter of weeks. There are people looking for cheap horses they can buy and then sell on at a profit.
