Best place to advertise a hunter?

Hi everybody,
Im currently trying to sell my horse and would really love to find him a hunting home, although he could turn his hoof to anything i think this is what he really enjoys to do.
So wheres best to advertise him? and do hunters sell at this time of year or would I be better waiting untill nearer the start of the next season?

Agree about the hunt's page, another place would be PC website, I sold my fantastic pony (who was best at hunting) on PC webby, to the Master's daughter, who has really only hunted him, and I couldn't think of a better home for him.

Alot of the teamchasing folk also hunt, so could post on the forum (free)

I dont think the hunt I have hunted with has a website but will try other loacal ones,
Will definatly put him on the PC website and have a word with the Local Pony club to see if they know of anybody looking. Will also try to joing the teamchasing forum.

I'm tentatively looking for a second hunter and i check Horsequest and Horsemart fairly regularly.
Horse and hound is good
as well as horsedeals.
 
Hmmm well had quite a bad buying experience around 18months ago, so being quite wary. But looking for a second hunter. I hunt 2-3 times a week in winter then do fun rides/sj/hunter trials etc in summer...
currently viewing some real blank canvasses as in 3yr olds as fed up of buying horses that other people have ruined.
