I'm planning to put a 7.5 tonne horsebox in the £20K price bracket up for sale. For anyone who has sold similar did you use H&H, Horse Deals or some other site and which would you recommend? Thank you !

We've just sold ours through horsemart - not sure I would recommend as only had 2 calls about it a month, but that could just be down to the market. Wasn't over priced, in fact was probably cheaper then most others of a similar age/condition but we just didn't want to be stuck with it for ages, which seemed quite likely from some of the other ads!

IMHO these are best sites. I resently sold my old lorry on horsesmart in less than 24hours and in end i have a que of poeple wanting to buy.
I think you have to write a good, acurrate advert plus you do need to back this up with good images. Plus if selling at your price range i would also think about do a short video, so you stop any tyre kickers.

I advertised mine last October as it had just got 12 mths plate on Horsemart, Horsehunter and Equine UK for what I thought was a fair price but got hardly any response.
I advertised it again for less in mid April and the 2nd caller bought it, 2 days later! I got about 10 calls in the first week, I think its a good time to sell now but I do think I did underprice it having since looked at whats on the market at the moment. I sold mine for £15k. I was told it was worth about £17k. My box wasnt eyecatching but it was as new and very well made so I felt my market was limited as some people wouldnt give it a second look.
Some wagons are up for silly money and you see them time and time again advertised on various sites. I had a hassle free sale and although I regret selling it

We have sold all ours out of Horse and Hound, sold one 2 months ago out of Horse and Hound, we sold it before the issue came out, as Horse and Hound put it on their web site, it had only been on there 2 days, we sold it for 18k but it was immaculate tho.
