I am trying to sell my saddle which is barley 1 year old but dosent fit my new mare 110% so want to sell and get a new one.The only thing is its not a cheap one and I dont know where to advertise where ppl will be willing to pay the amount of money am looking for? any ideas pls?

Have you got a new one to replace it yet? If not it would be worth finding a saddle fitter who offers part exchanges, they could take your old saddle off you in part payment for a new one. You can get quite good deals this way as most saddlers will give you a fair price for it.

thats what I thought but they have taken the mick a little I think so looking to sell myself then buy.But have found a web site that send you 3 or 4 saddles at a time to try and then u only send back the ones u want so am waiting to see what they will part ex mine for.
I paid £1400 for my saddle made to order in dec and am not letting it go on the cheap! no way lol

You can always put a reserve on it on ebay but you run the risk of it not selling and you have to pay the listing/reserve fees anyway.
I just bought a Wow on there for £750 which was a year old and cost double that new.
Good luck with it.

my yard owner puts second hand saddles on ebay but only the cheap ones seem to sell because people on ebay are looking for bargains. might be better to advertise on it on a equestrian web site.

if you give me details of your saddle i can check ebay.

gives me something to do
