My foal now is growing up, will be 2 this year but iv never had such a bond with a pony ever in my life and put it down to the fact I brought him just weaned and we have becomes a good partnership.
Iv got ridden horses but haven't bonded with them in the same way so would like to buy another foal this year. A coloured heavy weight cob but don't need show quality or breeding just a loveable pony to bring into my family so where's the best place to buy? Keep a look out at the markets where they will be cheap as chips or dragons driving where they also go dead cheap?
Will only be for a hacking partnership and pampering.

Beeston Market in Cheshire. Went yesterday and they were going for about £100 on average. Emaciated and filthy but if you have a good eye, you can just about see a lovely 15hh heavyweight happy hacker in there somewhere!

michael vine has some absolutly beautiful foals forsale and at good prices. Or you could go to appleby fair in a few weeks? be plenty of babies for sale, so much so im tempted to go my self for my 3rd youngster! :o

World Horse Welfare.

agree with this, or Redwings are packed to the gills with the the type of animal you want, not only rescued in Britain but also brought over by them from Crosskennan in Northern Ireland, do not buy, take a rescue, you will really feel good. I will be taking in one of the rescue ponies from Mallusk next week, to take the place of Rosie, who aged 34 was also a rescue pony. Rosie has been diagonised as having Liver failure this week, and is having to be put down next week, her friend of a lifetime Zonic, also aged 30 or so is a real worry, but we are hoping he will find new pony a companion. Once again do not buy, rehome.
