Best Place to buy micronised Linseed from?

Hi all,

As in the title really.. just wondering where the best place was? Online or in a shop i don't mind (I'm in S.Glos)

Also- how much do you feed per 100kg? not used it before, but adding it for some condition over the winter without making her go mad.

I feed a cup a day which is about 200grams but it will obviously depend on the size of your horse, there are recommended feeding guidelines on the link.

Can't help on the shop front, some will order it in though IME.

Feeding rate wise, err, Frank gets 1-2 mug fulls a day. 2 of late, drop to 1 if I am worried about his weight increasing

Ive had a little look- the cheapest Ive found it is £22.95 for a 20Kg bag delivered (cooked micronised and ready to feed) on eBay (seller equiworld) So I might give this a go and see.

Its for a 16hh warmblood mare, but I might start with 100gms and go up if I need to.

have used charnwood in the past but mole valley do it now too, as do pegasus equine health. the mole valley one is cheapest per kg but only comes in a 16kg bag....

I read recently that if feeding a linseed supplement, you need to add vitamin E, & selenium for the horse to absorb all the nutrients correctly.

it gets on/out of stock regularly so you have to watch it but I think lots of people use them, fast delivery and excellent price
