best place to find shetlands ?

ive been on the look out for a couple of shetlands- for companions/pets and with the market the way it is i thought id have no prob, but i cant find any anyone know of any in scotland?

Not sure where abouts you are in Scotland so may be no good but I got two shetlands from Parlington stud in N Yorkshire.

They mainly breed competition shetlands but we brought two cheap ones as they were no good for showing and both are lovely natured field companions!!

Where abouts are you? Some one on The scottish Showing Forum has a number of shetlands they are looking to loan out.

What a shame you're in Scotland - we're about as far away as you can get, but we have to rehome a couple of ours, but we're in Hampshire, so a bit far away!

I'm surprised you can't find any up there tho!

Try your local rescue centre. I was after a shetland companion at Easter so called the Horse Rescue Fund and World Horse Welfare and was inundated with shetlands that needed rehoming. I am now the proud mum of Tattie and Haggis, 2 gorgeous miniatures.
