Best place to ride in Cyprus???

Parents have got a house in Meneou just outside Larnaca. I've been a few times on holiday and I've noticed a few stables - I think there is one just up the road near Kiti but it looks Private, and a one near Protaras. Has anyone been for a treck whilst there or if you live there know the best place to go for a bit of a hack out to take in the countryside. I've got transport so distance no object, but I do get a bit stuck at the one way system around Limassol so directions would be appreciated!

I can't remember the geography of cyprus as its a while since i was there so it might be quite far but there is a place near Paphos called George's ranch which was very good.

There are stables out at Dekalia. Rode there a few times. That's just east of Larnaca.

My in laws place is in Meneou too. Nice place! Off there in July for a holiday. The stables were nice, horses well cared for, school, lots of ex-pats there so had quite a British feel to it rather than a tourist beach ride set up! Have fun! Think I rode something called Gunner or Warrior or similar

Just have, and it's handy becuse we always spend a night or two in Paphos. Thats the best set of directions I've seen in a long time

The lady who owns/runs it is very nice. I am riding there in June, went last year. Really good hacking. In fact am hoping to live is Cyprus in a few years time and taking my horse with me. Little does she know that I have my sights set on keeping him there.
