best place to sell a saddle?

Ive tried ebay but there is very little activity on it! No watchers or bids

Where else is a good place to advertise it?

Unless you are desperate for the money, I would put it away and wait for 6 months. I tried to sell a perfectly nice saddle on ebay and I was offered £100 for it - after the bidding had ended, with no-one showing any interest.

www.saddlesdirect.co.uk used to take saddles in to sell and she's then take £50 off for the advertising/storage etc.
Not sure if she's still doing it mind you.

Unfortunately I am pretty desperate for the money, as I need to sell it to help fund a new saddle

In that case, can't you part-ex it at your saddlers?
I know you probably won't get what you really want for it but at least it's something.

What is it? Sometimes if its a particular type or size there are better places to mention it. (psssst, that manage my horse.com has free advertising for your tack....)
