i contacted the saddler i bought my saddle from , but they charge 60% of the amount sold for!!!!!
i paid £320 for it a year ago as second hand, so looking to sell for about a bit less, but not sure of best place to sell it.
i also have bits, fleece rug, girths etc etc.
was thinking ebay...... any advice??

Derby House has also launched a new site called Equine Exchange - I sent them my saddle ad and they put in on VERY quickly, unlike another site! I sell on Ebay, it has its ups and downs. You have to deal with Paypal, who now have started putting payments on hold until after the item is posted AND positive feedback left (this for new buyers only, and not every transaction). Ebay and Paypal also take a cut of what you make, but in all, it's better than having gear lying around gathering dust. Enjoy!

I'm selling a saddle on ebay currently.....theres 27 people watching it...but only 3 bids, and it hasnt reached its reserve yet....I'm hoping for a bidding frenzy in the last 2 minutes!

It will sell on ebay Im sure, but for less than a private sale...but less hassle IMO.
