Best product for cracked hooves?

My 2 yr old is living out over summer but today noticed on one hoof a small crack and another crack going half way up the hoof. We have had sporadic weather from very wet to sunny, shall I try Kevin Bacon?

Kevin Bacon products are great, half of our yard swear by them...especially those with delicate hoofed TB's! I can thoroughly recommend...I used it daily as a general hoof treatment and my boy's feet were in great condition. A tub lasts ages too.

Is Kevin Bacon hoof dressing all I need or is there more in the range for specific issues?

I just used the hoof dressing daily. Carr & Day (i think thats the right company..just got home from work, long day!) do an intensive moisture in a tube and thats also great as a help to get back on track.

What are you feeding? For the longer term I like to feed a good diet and a balancer to stop this sort of thing.

Don't rate Kevin Bacon at all. I did try it, back in my pre-hoof obsessed days. Didn't work, though.

Now I realise that nutrition is the key, followed by stimulation. So feeding and work.

If there are fungal infections, then they need to be treated, but if not then there's no reason to clog up the hooves with lard (which is what KB is).
