Best product to soften scabs???

Not been on here for a long time but am looking for some advice.

My horse has scabs on his body that require to be removed and I have tried hand hot water and Hibiscrub but they are still difficult to get off. I am now trying Hoof to Heel cream which I left on overnight and he has on today so will see if that has worked but wonder if anyone has any other ideas what I can use to try and remove them as painlessly as possible?

Udder cream, lots of it slathered on and covered with cling film if possible.. leave over night, that should do the trick, if not re-apply.

An ex army vet put me on to Rosemary and suphur cream. Slather that on daily for a couple of days and it really works on any skin condition.

Muddy Marvel De-Scab lotion is great, just wash area then rub it in and leave for 10-15 minutes then wash off, scabs just wash off.

If you can wrap it in cling film, then bandage over and leave overnight, then they should peel off
