The current inclement weather has inspired the question…

My saddle’s a Wow with no d rings on the back. I don’t mind what it’s made of, I just want one that doesn’t sit under the saddle pad or between the saddle pad and saddle.

Thanks!

I use a Protech Masta quarter rug from Harry Hall. BD legal and velcro tabs go around my stirrup leathers. Am also in a monoflap saddle. Rug sits nicely and doesn't rub or shift about.

I’ve bought an eskadron heritage one (https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0093/7053/3988/products/esk_171554_217_290_f_800x.jpg?v=1603122842 ) for my Equipe Emporio dressage saddle. I chose it because the velcro straps are set so low that they go in the girth straps. Before that I had bought one from Catago I think it was, where the velcro straps were set so high up that it would have to go in the stirrup leathers and that annoyed the hell out of me because it would pull back on my stirrups.

I also have a Back on Track one with the velcro in front of the saddle (https://img.smartpak.com/images/product/highres/20013_fleece.jpg - they do one with straps as well, but again they would go in the stirrup leathers).

I use a thermatex one - I attach the straps to the stirrup keeper on my monoflap (I have mono leathers so don't need the keeper). Mine is really neatly on the edge of the saddle flap, but not sure what I would attach it to without that to be honest.

I’ve got this. It’s a really nice quarter sheet, just the right weight, thick enough to not flap but not so thick they heat up underneath.
Depending on whether or not you believe the claims about the infrared, it’s also good for their backs.
