Sorry, I know there are lots of rug posts around at the moment, but am absolutely overwhelmed by the number of rugs available.

Horsey hasn't been clipped yet and I am in need of a mediumweight for after the deed has been done. Being in Scotland, I would expect to move on to a heavyweight quite soon, so don't want to spend a lot. However, he does need one as only has heavies and a rain sheet at the moment.

Recommendations, pretty please?

I rate either JHL rugs or the Derby House own brand. I had a HW and a MW Derby house rugs and they where both fab, fitted and lasted very well.

Thanks very much all. One of the tack shops in town has the Amigo at £54.95, but it they only have it up to 6"6' and I need a 6"9' - typical! They don't come up absurdly big by any chance do they?

Otherwise, I've found the Weatherbeeta cheaply at one of the ones out of town, so could be in for a long drive on Saturday morning......

I'm trying to avoid postal strike by not ordering online.

Have a look at equestrian clearance (an online site) they usually have a good selection cheaper than elsewhere. The other site I have used is lets go shopping, they are very good for the weatherbeeta rugs - I got mine there last year.
