Unfortunately King has been suffering recently with a bit of a cough and snotty nose which we think was caused by dusty hay. He has had a course of antibiotics, been changed onto haylage and moved to a big airy stable.

So he is on the mend and back in action, but I wanted to start giving him some kind of supplement just to help him a little.

What would you all recommend?

Picture of the poorly patient, who certainly hasn't been acting particularly poorly!

I've used Equine America Coff-Less before and thought it helped, but ultimately it will take a bit of time. If he is really sounding thick winded I have use steam to help ease it, bowl of hot water and towels over the nose.

I used Airways for my COPD cob, if you have a cold you can also open the tub and have a big sniff - really opens your pipes up!

I use Naf Easy Breathing on my mare who was coughing and it seems to have worked. I started rinsing her hay, then changed her bedding to shavings - both worked to an extent but I've found no coughing or snotty nose since using it

I was going to say take the primary source away and the rest should fall in place once any inflammation has calmed down which takes times. But seems you have done what you can to rectify that so personally I would just use a course off respirator by NAF it's powerful with a money back guarantee, but bare in mind sometimes it seems to have made them worse as its clears them right out, so u get a load off gunk but it's doing its job and does subside after a few days.
