Popped Chico in the horsebox and trundled a few minutes away to 2400 acres of nature reserve Sutton Park.
I have only taken him once before, walking in hand last Saturday so it was just our second time (third ever in the horsebox).
My parents met me there with our three dogs and off we went.
I walked him in hand for the first 15 minutes before hopping on board and i rode the rest of the way around.
Chico was SO good i was so proud of him.
We had torrential rain, thunder storms and then on the way back we ended up on a track behind a whole herd of cows. I had to use Chico to herd them on so we could get past - he was so keen and willing.
Got home, tired and soaked through but i have had the best ride ever - going to have to make this a weekly event
(only thing Chico was scared of was the puddles - silly muppet!)
