Best riding school in Cleveland/N.Yorks?

Hi, where would anyone recommend for a good riding school for a mature beginner in the Cleveland/North Yorkshire area, that does private lessons.

Had my own horse for years so a bit out of touch with schools, but want to get a friend of mine some lessons as a gift.

I'm not local and I don't know about lessons, but whenever I've visited my gran who lives up that way I've adored seeing the horses from Saltburn Riding School riding along the beach! I'm definitely planning a visit there one day

Theres a few depending which side your on and what sort of lesson your wanting. sue richie at brass castle lane (ford close riding school) is fab for flatwork/dressage. peter allan at stainsby is fab for jumping lessons. for a good hack u cant beat saltburn riding school. if your more darlington way middleton riding centre
