Best rug for cooling?

Looking to buy a cooler rug, but not sure which are the best...fleeces or waffle weaves? Dont want anything too expensive, just to put on them after we come back from rides if they are hot and sweaty.

i have amigo cooler fleece and i find its rubbish!! Thikin about getin waffle!

I find thermatex very good but they are quite expensive. Equenox very good, Premier Equine very good.

Thermatex are the best IMHO, but not the cheapest. I also like the Bucas rugs too - they are a bit cheaper.

Waffle coolers every time, we managed to snap one up for £8 from robinsons, it's the best cooler we've ever bought! We have a fleece too but it doesn't really dry them, we tend to use it for traveling him in the winter as he gets cold x

Another vote for Thermatex from me. Mine doubles up as a stable rug and under turnouts for layering. Can't beat it. IMO

I have a weatherbeeta thermalux type one - about third of the price of thermatex but does the job just as well. Just don't put it on a hot wash.....mine went in 6'6" and came out about 5'9".

Another one who finds Thermatex hard to beat. Some of the polar fleeces aren't too bad but Thermatex is the one we always use.
