Best saddle for freeing up shoulders

i think you question is a little too general to gain much response. My horse has enormous shoulders and a medium/high wither - he has an albion style jump saddle and a keiffer dressage but my suggestion would be to try a few different types and see what works. :)
 
As above really but I find Solution saddles work very well for horses that hate to have their shoulders restricted.
 
Thank you, I'll have a look into Solution saddles.

She's only just turned 5 so I'm reluctant to try 10s of different saddles on her.

She's had 2 so far but it seems that the problem is that she doesn't like her shoulders being restricted so I thought I'd try to narrow down the brands with this fact!
 
My mare has huge shoulders but not whithers and she goes great in a wintec, a friend horse has the same as you and he goes great in a wintec.

I have just bought a Solution Freestyle for a warmblood mare with big shoulders and a fairly high wither and she is going very well in it. I tried the latest Solution make the Smart and she didn't like that at all. Think it it was because the pommel is much more padded and stiffer than the Freestyle. The good thing about Solution is that they have trained advisers around the country and they will come out and fit the saddle to you and the horse, because it still wants fitting even though it is treeless.
 
look into ESF saddles. very expensive but well worth it there based on the female pelvis and lots of info on you tube, ect, Laura Whitterton is very though bordering on perfectionist, she knows horses and saddles and the human anatomy
