I am going to buy a half pad for for my jumping saddle. Currently borrowing a pro lite built into a saddle cloth but would like one to buy one which is separate.
My saddle fits perfect so dont want one that alters the fit just adds some protection when jumping. There are alot of lambs wool pads / gel pads / pro lites out there so not sure which one to go for. Any recommendations? thank you

Well if your saddle fits perfect dont get a wool pad as it will make it slightly tighter.

I always use a slip pad under my numnah like this

and then either another slip pad on top of numnah or if horse is sensitive a gel pad like this

Prolites and wintec pads i find tend to reduce the feel you have of the horse

Really like prolite pads and always use a form of pad under my saddle for jumping. Prolites are tried and tested, dont make the horse sweat and fit really well under the saddle

Do like sheepskin ones, but as Jess says, hey do make a saddle tighter.
