we need to resurface our school, its 25x60 and use to have the pvc surface ( i think thats what it was) we had it topped up a couple of years ago and it was completely ruined by the awful (but very well known) company that did it... they delivered the wrong sand, refused to take it back and only did when we found metal wire, razor blades and fibre glass in it!! it has been so awful it now freezes and in some areas its down to the membrane base. any way we are going to top it up again and i wondered if you have any reccommendations on what and who to use (i'm in south east!) also any ideas on how much it'll cost?

I have a ransford's surface. I know it's a wood chip, but, it's clean wood chip, nothing but the wood, no bark etc.

It never freezes, never has puddles and is great to ride on. A lot of menage problems stem from drainage.

I hope you get yours sorted out, as it's expensive to fix!!!

Not strictly the same thing you want but I have ridden on a gsallop laid with robert brazil(i think) surface and it was fab ! I think they do surface sspec for menages and schools as well. They normaly advertise in the back of horse and hound each week

One of my house sitting customers has just recently had her re surfaced it was bark that had gone mushy. Shes had it done with Fibresand and Rubber chips it fab never gets wet. Ive also heard Springride rubber shred is good too, Pm Kerrilli she has Springride and has built a few schools so knows her stuff on the subject.
