Hello
My OH and I were in a horse shop a while ago and she commented on how brilliant a particular brand of socks were. I was then dragged off to look at some other horse paraphernalia before I had time to note which socks they were.
So with stocking fillers in mind, my question to the experts is, what are the best riding socks?
Thanks in advance!!!

I love my woof wear bamboo socks, which, funnily enough I got as a Christmas present! They have worn and washed very well and have the distinct advantage of being eco friendly!

Woof Bamboo are wonderful to wear but mine get holes very quickly so have given up as they are not cheap. The Sock Shop do really hard wearing socks - I would recommend but they don't do the small adult size (they used to). Lemieux have a great range of socks these days and they feel good and so far are wearing well

I gave up wearing riding socks as they’re over priced and don’t really need long socks. I now buy nice good quality wool mix socks as they’re warm and it stops my Ariat Windermere’s getting stuck. They wear out more quickly than total synthetic socks though.

I find 2 pairs of thin socks keep my feet more comfortable just cheapo ones from the supermarket is all I buy, in really cold weather I might put a thicker pair on top like my Aldi ones abd they have lasted well.

aldi are good,
I often use silks as an under layer
I also like the WW bamboo ones as mid level/padded feet.
For total warmth in wellies I use heat holders :p preferably long ones!
