I'm fed up of stirrup leathers that stretch so the last pair I bought were plastic. These are now cracking. I'm thinking os getting some bates leathers as someone at my yard says their good and last. Opinions?

Jaguar. They are expensive - £80 or thereabouts - but mine still look really good and haven't stretched after about 8 years of regular use.

I've heard good things about the passier ones too and think they are about £50.

one of my saddles has a pair of nut brown jeffries leathers that i got for £12 at a horsey car boot sale and this is the saddle i use for my youngster who likes bucking whenever it takes his fancy! i've had them on for a few months now, not only are they gorgeous quality and a lovely colour but i just love them - especially at £12!!
