Sorry to disappoint, this is not a repeat of the infamous "jodhpurs" thread (to those who remember)..

Just wondering if anyone can recommend a particular stockist for decent men's horsy clothing? Not jods.. more like tshirts, decent jackets, for day to day use? Bf's birthday coming up and he suggested he might like to update his horsy wardrobe!

Thanks in advance :D

I wouldn't bother with horsey stuff, just buy jackets etc from outdoor retailers and if he wants polo shirts etc then just from normal high street shops. The only stuff my OH has from horsey brands is jodhs, boots and hat. Everything else is non-horsey (and as a result better value and better quality). He does have some joules and jack Murphy for horsey fashion but doesn't tend to ride in it.

True! Though some of the ladies' horsy branded stuff is rather stylish in its own way, 'tis a shame there isn't the same availability for men. Although maybe that's simply due to the fact that generally, men are a bit more practical (perhaps I speak only for myself) in terms of shopping..

Sports Direct - craghopper fleeces are great, wash well and come in nice colours. You can also get loads of polo t-shirts for under a fiver each!

Joules stuff is nice but everyone seems to wear it now.

I get mine from Decathlon their Fourganza range is quite good everyday horse stuff. Jackets, fleeces, gilets, polo shirts, hats, boots etc etc and yes jods
