Best stud girths out there

Well I was very keen on the comfort zone stud girth, but after seeing one at longleat today I'm not convinced on them.

So just wondered what is the best stud girth out there?

Really interested to know what people have and why they like them?

I have the Devoucoux stud girth; its a really good quality product with very soft supple leather, it molds perfectly to your horse's shape. Would HIGHLY recommend it.

What saddle is the girth for ??? eg: style and make of saddle

Why wasn't you keen?

I use a cheaper version of the Comfort Zone and find it lightweight, easy to clean and cheap - possiblity more robus than CZ?

Its for a Byth Tait xc saddle. I really want something that is soft and comfortable for him. Thats not to heavy.

is it possible to get a long Devoucoux stud girth, because having a quick look i can only find short girth ones.

yeh, you can get a long devoucoux stud girth, the ones on the website are the old style of girth, the new ones are far nicer.

on the devoucoux website go to products - three day eventing / girths, and its number 9 'stud girth with snap hook'

they have a few types they call them bellyguards on the website like kjeventing said you can see them in the three day eventing and sj produts for girths
