What is the best sunblock around for a grey horse with a VERY pink muzzle area ?

Also he's hogged and the skin showing through is very pink so could I rub something into that too? Would it be better to let his mane grow as this might protect it?!

I tried kids sunblock on a very pink nose and all sorts of homemade veils. The best thing was to bring them in on sunny days. Helped with sunburn and grass intake.

I use Johnsons baby suncream factor 50 and its great. Put it on first thing in the morning and it does all day. I put it on his hog too cos that gets sunburnt. I have tried alsorts of others, horse and human but always go back to that.

Any baby sunblock but factor 50 I found not strong enough. You can get factor 80 abroad so maybe try Internet...

Another here for sudacreme. I have a grey with a very pink nose. Excellent. Factor 50 never worked for us it alway burn him.

I use kid sun block and recently suda cream but neither stay on because the fields so wet.

I've seen NetTex Sun Protector - any experience any one?

I'm using factor 60 on my mare, I think it's ambre solaire. It's really good though - I've found the horse ones make her itchy and sore, leading her to rub her nose, but she's okay with this one. In really hot weather though, my advice is always to bring in for the hottest hours of the day if possible. Not that this has been an issue this year :p
