Have just bought a fat 18month cob.
At present he's on good, mixed grazing (hence fat) but will be moving into a reduced grazing (not starvation though) paddock when he arrives.
I doubt he'll need any supplementary hard feeding but i'd like to feed him a general supplement to make sure he's getting everything he needs. Over winter he will be one ad-lib hay/haylage.
Any suggestions? Something that only needs feed in small amounts and is non-fattening. I was thinking of something like Balieys LowCal Balanacer? Or is there a better, youngstock specific supplement?
