We have a mare who we bought about 12 weeks ago and she has been turned out with a big herd of mares. She has always been with one or two other horses. She is very settled in the field but she has been in and out of season since we have had her. I spoke briefly to the vet and he said she just needed to settle in and would be worth investigating if she is like it next summer.
We've been away on pony club camp and again she has come into season but she is very sore in her back with it. She has been swishing her tail, doing mini bucks in canter, will only canter one side and then when my daughter went to get on her she reared a couple of times.
She is not a naughty pony at all, so she's trying to tell us something.

I had her back checked two weeks ago and thinking of getting them out again but would like to put her on a supplement to help her.

Please could you reccomend any????
