Best tarp/cover for horse trailer

I am trying to find a reasonably priced trailer cover for my Ifor 505. I thought I saw one a while ago on an Ifor website for £200 but can now only find one for £399!! Do you cover your trailers for protection? If so what do you use? I currently have it covered with a tarp thats a bit small but has done a decent job over winter!Thanks x
 
Bumping this thead to see if anyone else can suggest good cheap covers for trailers. Mine is a Wessex, about the same size an an Ifor 510. Many thanks :)
 
There was a thread on here a while ago and several people said they use caravan covers because they do the job and are MUCH cheaper than the proper ones - same old same old, say it is for horses and double the price!!
 
I have an Ifor cover and in theory it is great. It does look after your trailer much better i previously left my old trailer uncovered but then I had to keep replacing the sides because they were becoming water logged and rotting. Each new side cost £400 so when we bought the new trailer we decided to buy a cover as well even though the new roof design should prevent the side from rotting anyway. We bought a green cover and i must say when it is on you don't notice the trailer is there so we do feel happier in that respect once you take the cover the trailer seems to scream "i am here!!" However the covers are a bind to put on and take off I am used to it now but if it is windy or raining you can't get it back on. We noticed that the top of the cover was fading and the material was becoming very thin and a year after we had bought it it did rip down the middle. We returned it to Ifor who replaced it with a new one and apologised saying that we were the first to have one and they were sorry that this had happened but the new ones are slighty different. We have had the second one for two years in August but I don't think it will make it. Again the roof has faded - it is nearly white now and the material has become very brittle so we have to be very careful with it. It will be interesting to see what response we get when we return the second one because I believe that they should last longer than 2 years. The sides are as new so in my eyes they should use a different material on the roof that doesnt disintegrate from the Uv light.
Another negative is that it has rubbed a small patch of paint off the roof but on the positive side my 3 year old trailer does look like it has just been collected from the show room. The only alternative I can find is an American cover that is designed for trailers and caravans but it is only supplied in silver which for us isn't an option.
