Did post this the other day in CR, but didnt get a very good response.

My 10 year old Claredon tendon boots have finally given up (gutted, I loved those boots), the elastic has stretched so much they no longer hold tight (plus the straps are falling to pieces) and they constantly slip down so obviously not offering the protection they should be. I now have the lovely task of replacing them, preferably £50 or under but am willing to spend a bit more on some really good quality ones. They also must fit a skinny legged TB (his legs measure about 21cm round the cannon bone). So I'm looking for your recommendations please. So far I have my eye on the Tri Zone's but not sure on the fetlock boots as I've not heard good things about them and I've also seen a lovely set from the English gaitor company that has changeable liners (one sheepskin and one neoprene). One thing though the boots must be able to withstand a bashing, the horse is normally pretty good with his legs but some days he can be a complete plonker and because he then cant do two things at once loses control of his legs and then it all goes a bit wrong lol :o Thanks in advance!

or Equilibrium

I have both and have been very pleased with them. :)

Currently have N.E.W tendon and fetlock boots which are fab, really like them. Also have Eskadon tendon and fetlocks which i have had for years and are still going strong. Would recommend either really.

I have the front and back set of Equilibrium Tri-zone boots, they fit nicely to the shape of the leg while keeping the leg cool as well, they have not yet slipped and they do keep any grit/mud/sand etc out.
