Hi

I need to purchase some new tendon & fetlock boots - what are the best boots on the market ?
Ideally leather with a sheepskin option, I have just purchased some from equiport but they have come up really small and will be sending them back.

I have just ordered an Equilibrium Tri-Zone Duo pack after reading good reviews on them.

They were supposed to come today but they haven't!

I use Dalmars - I won't put anything else on my horse. They are the only ones with proper carbon fibre protection that will withstand a strike to the tendon.

Eskadron, Veredus etc etc all very nice, but do b*gger all if your horse does a real tendon strike.

Where did you get those from, is the duo pack the one that is reduced when you get the fetlock boots to.

I have been googling those today to try to find some.

Yep! It's £59.90 for both and I think it would be £80 otherwise.
I found them hard to find too but got them from here:

Oh --- thats good to hear as they are the ones ive been looking at - do you know of a good stockist of the damlars ?
I currently have the eskradron and agree that they do naff all ! - Also a bit annoyed as the sheepskin is coming off in clumps and they are under a year old!

Try Barnsby - they were gorgeous, but came up too big on my mare so I had to sell them!

Dalmars are fine on my chunky boys

I'd like to know why most of you believe a thin <5mm thick piece of PVC or leather is going to protect from a tendon strike???

Veredus every time! We have found they give excellent protection and support.

Dalmars for me!! Got the leather tendon and fetlock boots. Very smart and as Cotswold SJ said, very good protection!!
