Just wondering what people are putting on their bundles of joy during all this weather.

I have 40g rug but he seems too warm so took it off (which he prefers as he can have a good old roll in wet mud but i dont!)

Im enduring hours of soggy wet horse waiting to be ridden now :-/ was looking at Amigo Lite last night? Any thoughts on just rainproof rugs that you are using .....

I have an old Amigo and and Amigo Mio for my two. The Amigo Mio is quite a bit thinner but waterproof and light enough for the hair to stand on end underneath it. Pony has a Mark Todd and a Weatherbeta lite rugs and both leak in heavy rain. The Weatherbeta was a waste of money as he can't wear it in more than a light shower. So I def prefer Amigos.

I have an Amego lite and its perfect for when its mild but wet - not even a lining so my boy has never got hot in his! (Plus it came free with a magazine subscription! Happy days!)

I use a Horseware no fill ; can't remember if its a Rambo or not as all my rugs are Horseware and I cannot fault them. They don't sweat up under them ( a cheaper rug I bought ended up making my horse sweaty), they keep them warm (even when they have to go on a wet horse, as it evaporates out from the horse) and they cut out the wind. The no fill one can easily be washed in reproof stuff when needed. Cannot beat them I think as they last so well when cared for; Mine are still going strong after 15 years!!

Just to add, I also found the weatherbeeta lite pretty poor in the rain, the Amego is much better. And I an quite impressed with the Saxon lite if your on a budget. Completely waterproof!

Mine is in Weatherbeeta. She has two, the Joules Benjamin Stripe and a Landa full neck. She's always dry underneath.

I have a lightweight Amigo Mio that is really good. He has been out in the heavy rain for two days running now and come back in bone dry. :)

Might invest in another one so the current one can dry out!!
