Best thing to cut stable mats with

I have to cut down some stable mats down just wondering what the best tool to use is, any help appreciated

Stanley knife, cut from both sides.

OH used a fixed straight edge and a jigsaw for the heavy thick ones

A Stanley knife with a nice new sharp blade, and a metal straight edge.... and a sturdy pair of gloves!!

stanley knife, but i actually ended up ripping mine sliced markers at either side and just pulled! then cut off any sticky-out bits

Stanley knife with a new blade. It also helps to have a length of wood underneath so that you can 'flex' the cut open. We had 28 mm mats though so very thick.

I ripped one today, it had torn slightly in just the right place so we just helped it along the rest of the way!

I have Eva mats, the only thing that worked was a bread knife

I hope that I'm not too late as it was such a help... fairly liquid as you cut turned my rubber mats into butter (well not quite but vast improvement) I was using a pocket knife.
