I am wondering what is the best thing to add to my horse feed to help give his coat a real shine, fed top spec senior and cool and condition looks well but just wants a bit extra gloss

outshine, or something that is much much cheaper.

I don't feed anything particularly for glossy coat, just groom her lots! She gets fed a handful of happy hoof, half a handful of cool mix, garlic, biotin and vits supplement.

Falcon Feeds Omega rice is brilliant and fed at a much lower quantity than other conditioning feeds so is more cost effective.

Codlivine £15 tub lasts around a month, i feed 2 scoops per day to my black mare and she looks really shiny at the minute.

Thank you for all suggestions,he is groomed every day and loves it but interested to hear what different people use as there is so much on the market i would rather use something that has been used by someone before

Slightly OT but my friend feeds her horses paprika to bring out dapples in a chestnut/reddish coat, and nutmeg for the dapples in a bay or brown. About a teaspoon per feed, and it works. Another friend feeds cumin to combat sweetitch.
