Best thing to use measure horse for a saddle?

In days gone by, I used to use a wire coat hanger to measure for a saddle to then make a template, but someone said you can get rubber bendy ruler type things. does anyone know what they are called, or can anyone recommend anything else to use?

Plastercene? i think my old saddler used, there is the wintec things for the gullet but i dont know if they are accurate for all saddle!

That's what its called! What sort of shop is Partners? Never heard of it! Do you know any other shops that sell them? I know I could order on line probably, but would like it for Saturday if possible. Thanks for the advice

Partners is a stationery shop. So could try maybe Staples? Or whatever your local equivalent is
