As title really 🤔

Sold the yard so now have to actually shift butt and take the Grots and the Lil'Dog for walks.

Early and late are best times for us so looking for a good hands free torch. Tend to wear a Sealskinz wooly hat in the winter and not sure how the head torch type would work with it. Am open to suggestions.

Ah, yes, need light up collars as well. They have high viz coats and I have a yellow Equi Dry thingy - you can see me from the moon 🤔😂

Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

Thank you. I can't find Lumilight on Amazon, keeps showing different brands 🤔

So Google Lumilight (or any branded item promoted on socials), look at the suggestions in the top bar, enter those suggestions into Amazon (LED rechargeable head torch etc). Keep scrolling down and you'll get something a lot cheaper. Generally all from the same place.

Cuddlr trousers for example... got exactly the same for a fiver, just a longer wait and you have to be careful on sizes as it they tend to be sized very small

Thank you! Off to Google.

For me head torches fit better over a woolly hat 😄

The dog has a flashing collar but I don't use it much

I'll let you know how I go 😁

The lanes are really quiet around here so the collars are more so I can find them should we get separated... Thought I'd lost one irriate Grot when we were first setting up fencing at the yard - he'd got himself the other side of (an empty) paddock electric fence and couldn't figure out how to get back, just sat there looking sorry for himself when I finally tracked him down 🤷🏻‍♀️🙈😂

I use two different types of lights on my dogs, but the best one I have is from Pets at Home.

This one

All I will say though, is to have a separate collar for it, so you don't need to keep removing it, as the velcro gets crap if you have to do that too much.

For me, I just use a bog standard head torch off Amazon. They are adjustable so should work fine with a hat.

Thank you. Will have a look at PaH on Saturday 🐶

I've had a few head torches from Amazon but prefer the ones that have a back as well as a front light, and have a focusable headlight as well as the front band type.

Thank you. I'm thinking adjustable is a good idea. Don't need much light on the lane and don't want to blind any other walkers, though do want brighter on the tracks.

I use a 600 lumen Ledlenser torch (cheaper Amazon version of fancy ones) that has a rechargeable battery, fits over both baseball cap and woolly hat, although makes people think you are going lamping.
I bought a small Ledlenser torch (it takes three AAA batteries) over twenty years ago and it still works perfectly. The current T2 model (SKU: 9802) looks very similar.

My head torches, bought for hacking a few years ago, didn't work when I tested them before going to Namibia this summer so I bought a couple of new Ledlenser H8R head torches for the trip (18650 battery).

Mine is like that one but with the addition of the front strip. You can choose which lighths to have on. With all 3 on (strip and spot in front and LED at the back) I feel safe walking in the roads with no street lights.
