best trailer insurer?

for an old trailer? need asap, current insurer would charge be £20 a month, which i think is a bit steep for a box thats worth £1000

mine is on my horse policy with scottish equestrian. It's about £80 for the year, trailer is worth £2k.

My neds are insured with NFU and so is my old Rich richardson trailer worth about £1000... they added it on for nothing!!....

My car is insured with NFU and they added my trailer (value £2000) to the car policy for nothing.

Might be worth ringing your car insurer and seeing if they will add it on.

I also have road rescue which includes rescuing the trailer and the pony.

Usually cheaper to add onto your car policy, but be aware that is these cases the trailer is usually only covered if towed by the vehicle it is insured under and not any vehicle.
