Equitrek - mine travel so much better in it. I haven't found anyone who's had one that would go back to a "normal" trailer

Have been very impressed with Wessex trailers lately - not seen many before but suddenly lots of people are buying them. Light to tow and great interiors...worth a compare if you have the money!

Richardson Supreme Rosette.... I love it easy to hitch up on my own, easy to move about, lovely ramps etc etc, really happy with my trailer, my oh bought me it for xmas the year before last, best pressie ever!!

I had an ifor and wasvery happy with it, however having had a lorry for 2 years I borrowed a friend's ifor when we needed to travel a friends' horse who was too big for my lorry (longest horse in the world!) and was surprised how rattly it was and how much it jumped around behind me...and I drive REALLY carefully. It was better with horses in than empty but still made a lot of noise.
Will be swapping to an equitrek later in the year, they seem great!

If i could i'd have an equitrek but the new car i'm getting just wouldn't have the towing power for one of those with two decent horses inside.I'm in no rush to get a new trailer (just sold my lorry) so i'm going to wait until i see one i like with a price to match! I am an ifor fan but also a indespension fan too as my old pony had one of these and i really liked it,would have to get the bigger version of what she had but i really rate them,it's true that they def don't rattle and sway like the Ifors and i'm thinking that would be better for my young mare when she travels alone as she is a bit of a fuss pot! I also looked into getting a Bateson when i was trailer buying before (ended up with an Ifor) and those are nice, just didn't see any in my price range at the time, this time i have decent budget so i'm hoping to get a nice trailer that'll last me.

Who ever said Ifor were the best?! I think they are common! They are too agricultural IMO and havent changed much over the years. I love my Bateson. Had the trailer about 4 years now and its been brilliant. The people really listen as well, everything I thought could have been improved has all been done on their updated ones! They have been so helpful over any small issue and if you need parts, they arrive the very next day.

Ive got the Fautras Oblic 2 as one of mine will not travel forward facing and I love it. Tows well no rattles etc. Smart trailer.

Richardson Rice - fantastic, sturdily built, nice to tow, and hold their money. Make the Ifor's look flimsy.

Exactly what she said, my Rice is now 13 years old and going strong. Never had a fault with it apart from a new floor which cost £300.

Even better, the new ones have a floor with a lifetime warranty!!
