Ive had both and both have there plus and minus points. The Richardson was much nicer to tow, unless youve towed both you wouldnt realise the difference, the Ifor is more Robust. My horse warped the ramp on the Richardson, he was being a plonker when practicing loading but he was mainly running out backwards, not kicking it or anything. The Richardson was roomier at the front, much easier when unloading big horses and the ramp was better on the kerb side, same reason more room to turn a bit horse. The top door on the front of the Richardson is massive and when open makes the trailer so light and airy and great for unloading difficult horses as nothing to bang there heads on. The Richardson didnt rattle like the Ifor. If the Richardson was as robust as the Ifor it would win IMO hands down. Oh when using full length partitions the Richardon has a deadly attachment on the roof (for the centre pole of the normal partition) My horse never liked trailers and would load and shoot out backwards and this 'thing' nearly scalped him!! I would have had it cut off but I decided to sell the trailer and save for a wagon.
