My car crate does not fit my new car and due to the shape and electrics in the boot pillars making fitting a tail gate very problematical, I am looking into getting a travel harness for the greyhound, that can be fastened to the luggage strap brackets. He has to travel in the boot, at least for a couple of years as the car is new, new and Mr R would throw a complete wobbly at any idea of a dog on the back seats.

If anyone can recommend something suitable I would much appreciate it as looking on line is giving me not much clue about the harness abilities. It is for travel only, not for walking.

Thanks.

I’ve struggled with this with my lurcher tbh. He travels on the back seat in a kind of hammock, with a harness attached. I really didn’t like the harness being attached to the seat belt points, the first time I used it he got it wrapped around a hind leg and it pulled tight, so no it’s attached higher up.

I a perfect world I’d have a Barjo back door and dog guard, but as yet they don’t make them for my vehicle.
