Try some of the motorbiking ones, they are often thermal too and have zips at the bottom. eBay have them.

Or for cheapie non stretch ones the Regatta make are ok, will eventually get saturated but for £12 odd they do pretty well.

Or look for sailing gear?

If your looking for really waterprooof then you cant really look further than the ornella prosperi or team L ones. Their both expensive but are really hard wearing and by far the most waterproof ive come across. I live in mine during the winter. Their great to ride and work in. The only problem with them is if its warm you do sweat in them but thats the same with most.

I use Berghaus gortex ones, they are not cheap but well worth it

The Ransome waterproofs were great at keeping you dry although not breathable but I'm not sure if you can still get them....

Mole Valley have some great waterproof trousers for £6.50!!!!

I got a pair when I went to Exmoor in August!!!! And found that Ravenwood had forgotten to mention that this (amongst other months) was the rainy season..... the very rainy season!!!!

She loved them so much that she chased me over 100 acres trying to get them!!!

Yes, they are dual purpose...............

They frighten away anything within a five mile radius leaving you a clear path and they are waterproof
