Best way to clean a trailer?

I think I'm going to sell my Bateson Deauville in the near future but, being white, it shows up all the dirt and is probably going to need a serious clean. Without wanting to sound like a complete thicko, what would be the best way to clean it?

The inside, I accept that I need a broom and a bucket and elbow grease but for the outside, can I take it to a car wash? Can I use a pressure washer on it safely without stripping off the paint (which is what happens to cars BTW)? Any advice?!

I'd power wash the inside FWIW

The outside we usually just hose get a sponge/mop thing and keep washing till its clean

Agree power wash it at your local services/good petrol station, on hot wash, it will blast it plus you get a brush on a long handle so you can scrub to your hearts content, I did mine like this and it came up like brand new...that nice I didnt want to sell it lol!

power wash the whole lot is by far the easiest option & gives a good result

power wash and green gloop from field guard smells great and gives a great shine you can use it on rubber mats aswell! Green Gloop!!

I took mine down to our local tesco's and used the jet wash. I used the soap that comes with them.

Looked lovely and clean afterwards, till we put the pony in a couple of times.

powerwash, or good old fashioned bromm and hose! a bit of car shampoo will help. Mine needs doing thinking about it!

I found that stuff that Ainsley Harriott advertises for cleaning BBQ's is brilliant for getting the black staining off the roof of my IW. It's made by Fairy, is in a green squirty spray bottle and I can't remember the name for the life of me.
OH reckons it's better than the detergent they put in the jetwashes.

I borrowed my dads pressure washer, the roof was really hard work though, it had lichen on it. You'll need a long ladder and a supportive friend at the bottom if you're a bit funny about heights (it's quite a long way up when your scrubbing the roof).

I don't bother that much with the interior usually, the outside gets done once a year (whether it needs it or not

) I just sluice down the relevant side when someones piddled in there, otherwise just clear up the poo and give it a good sweep, and a wipe down of the walls/partition when they look really grotty.
