Let it dry out naturally, preferably somewhere with a flow of air. Do not use aritificial heat eg. putting it near a radiator as this will overdry the leather.
no direct heat at will as that will dry the leather out and make it crack. Put it somewhere that is well ventialted and at a normal room temperature. also when it is dry make sure you give it a good treatment eg neatsfoot oil
As said, put it somewhere warm but not hot, with good air circulation and no direct heat or sunlight. When dry, use a good leather feed, such as Effax or Hamanol.
