As above really, I have a saddle that I don't want to sell but won't be using for the forseeable future, is there anything I can do to keep it pristine whilst storing it? Oil it or cover it in something to keep the leather supple?

Clean it, grease it, put a linen or cotton sheet around it (only a natural fibre) and put in a cardboard box. This will keep the saddle from getting any mould on it or drying out too much whilst you store it. Do not put it in the loft as warm air rises and will dry it out. Best place is a cupboard under the stairs.

Thank you, I shall go and get organised.
