Best way to strengthen cracked hooves?

I think it's due to it being so wet recently but my mares hooves have gone very week. They are cracking badly and she has had 2 abscesses. What can I apply to the hoof to help and is there anything I can add to her feed that actually works? She is stabled at the moment to try and keep them a bit dryer but they are still looking bad. Thanks

Realistically you first need to look at what you are feeding.

Secondarily you need to consider whether your horse has a white line disease infection which is contributing to the cracking.

Is she shod?
How old?
