I am picking my foal up on Saturday, a 6 month old section C. I have a 7.5 ton horsebox which I will be using (unless it sells in the meantime and then I will be borrowing a trailer!)
Am I best to take out all partitions and put down a thick straw bed, or would he be better with a partition to lean on? I'm thinking not as he will be able to fit through the gap at the front.
My last foal was delivered to me so I had no say, she was travelled loose in a stock trailer. She is an ID though, and looked more solid - this little lad is tiny which is making me worry more.
What would you do?
Thanks for any responses
