Since Ebay is expensive (esp when combined with Pay Pal) I wondered where else might be a good place to sell 2nd hand riding stuff for horses and humans?

Or, if you're in the south, NFED has a good classifieds section. Although I did try to buy some horsey books from a girl called Jade who never sent them to me, despite her banking my cheque, the cheeky mare!!

I think that's why it's better for buyers to buy on paypal, as you have more protection. You might get less interest in the classifieds places.

You could also try preloved, there's often some horsey stuff there.

Thanks for the replies.

I've tried Preloved but not the free ads - will give that a go.

Know what you mean about the security of PP but i've found the costs of that and Ebay extortionate if you are only selling a few bits. I tend to use bank transfer where possible - as you say cheques can have the potential for non-supply or, as recently happened to me, goods supplied but postage not paid (at least not by the seller) despite having charged for it! Very cheeky!
