Can anyone tell me what glove they use in winter that keeps them warm? i am so sick of cold fingers and ive had a go with every glove going. At the mOment ive got some biking gloves and they do a good job for so long but the tips of my fingers are so cold. Im wanting some to use on the yard and not too thick so i can do haynets up easy ( find that i cannot do them with thick glove )

thank you

Sealskinz riding gloves, pink and black, £30. Warm, waterproof (really truly waterproof - I got mud on my fingers and ran my gloved hands under the tap and it felt weird, like wearing marigolds, I was soaping and washing but my hands were dry.

Nope. The is no glove that keeps your fingers warm! I have tried them all... Even £50 ones!!!!No have raynauds disease and need to keep my fingers warm or blood stops circulating and my cells die and nails can go funny.

What you need is ginkgo biloba or something to improve your circulation. Infact, are you sure you haven't got raynauds?

You can get losartan prescribed for it. I don't like meds but ginkgo and magnesium supplements help me loads. I have to work fast and often run about to keep the blood vessels open x

I have a pair of mark todd leather thinsulate ones and they are not to bad price (around £15). Although not utterly waterproof they do keep ur hands warm.

Sealskinz for me too; I have arthrtis and I can't bend my hands in any other gloves ( not counting the cheap cotton/magic gloves you can get, they are fine for spring/autumn ) they are so warm

Sealskins winter riding gloves - best things ever! Really are waterproof (amazing for fishing ice out of water buckets!), warmest gloves I've tried, and when you have got them totally grotty picking out muddy feet etc you can just wash your hands under the tap!
The ladies sizes do come up small. I'm a 6.5 in Roekle, but a large in these.

By far the warmest gloves I've ever had are called 'super green king' they are from Canada and are used in the Alberta oil fields in the winter; where the temperature goes down to -40deg. I work for a Canadian company, so I can get them. I don't know if you can get them in the UK though. They aren't much cop when wet so I always have a few pairs around. They only cost about $7.00 Canadian per pair, they last forever and can be washed 100s of times.
