Best winter riding coat?

Ok, my Prehistoric Kyra K Edinburg is no longer waterproof and Nikwax doesn't seem to do the job with it, so it might be time for a replacement.

What would you go for and what would you avoid?

TK Maxx (oh the glamour) has long Musto riding coats...you know, the ones that retail at around £250 normally? Worth a look.

Tkmaxx for ski/outdoors wear. I tend to nick boyfriends discarded ones though, much cheaper & can fit loads of layers under. Berghaus are great, last forever.
